Here in Wichita, Kansas, I have heard of Therosa's Bridge ever since I was a child. According to lengend, Therosa was a crazy woman who chopped up her kids and threw their body parts under a bridge in the Neodesha River. She will not be accepted into heaven until she finds all the body parts. To this day, she walks the river and haunts the bridge, looking for he children.
