it was a groupe of children that entered a maze made of tall trees that were on some sort of adventure and at the end of the maze all the popple they had come across had been turned into stone one of which helped them in the maze..

it was early 80s it was on around x mas time i think ther was a queen in it and some sort of animals like monkeys and big bears i know its not the lion witch and the wardrobe

It doesn't sound anything LIKE "Labyrinth" - apart from the fact there was a maze of sorts in it!
I'll do some research and get back to you...I just HAD to stop this Labyrinth nonsense!

The Railway babies, I stored thinking my Dad became going to get taken away like theirs did, some years later he ran off with some floozy besides, strangley being so indignant with them the two, I was hoping to stumble upon them on a steam crammed platform, no longer so i'd desire to do a Jenny Agutter yet so I kick them in the shins and run off with out being considered! nonetheless whilst your nightmares come genuine you face your fears and strengthen better as a result.

well it could have been labyrinth but that was one girl, not a group of children.... it had david bowie in it....
