I do the same thing. I have a hot temper, but I am very good at controlling myself, otherwise I'd be in jail for kicking someones stupid a** all the time. But somehow I manage to grimace and not say anything. If someone hits me, that's a different story.

I'm a push over. I do things that I don't want to all the time because people ask me to or it would help them out even though I have to go out of my way.
Plus, I don't complain when I should. I take a lot of crap and let it go because I generally don't like rocking the boat. Especially when it comes to my job. I feel that this is changing, though - for better or worse I think I'll like it if I do change my seeming neutrality a bit.

I like that: "Kick in the eye". It's as good as Hunter Thompson's "Shoot 'em in the eyes with a Luger" or "Punch 'em in the throat".
Anyway, I like to say something about sports or politics that gets them to respond. If they love the local team, I say "Professional sports are for idiots who can't see how easy it is to take their money and time". If they are Conservative, I'll say "We should ban all advertising outside 200 miles of where things are made". If they're Liberal, I'll say "The only way to change a Liberal's mind is to take it out and put in a new one."
Since I don't like many people, I get a lot of practice, and it leads to endless hours of fun.

You might be subconsciously laughing / smiling at the fact that you want to kick them in the eye. I trick off my cash on gold diggers.

You smile because they won't throw you in jail for smiling, but assault & battery is a felony . . .
keep smiling at those people, but as you do, tell yourself that you're wrinkling your nose at the smell of poo . . .

I say sorry to people that knock in to me or tread on my toe! Then when they don't say sorry back I curse at them (after they are out of sight!)
