Each party serves itself and its corporate masters, NOT the needs of the people. Just look at the recent revelations about those "family-values" loving Republicans.

I want to challenge the system and convert to a multi-party parliamentary system which forces coalition-building and more centrist policies. Are you with me? Do you have creative ideas on where to begin?

It's interesting that this question made some of you angry. lordkelvin asks "why do you think that partisan polities is not in the Constitution?" That's pretty funny. Um, because I have a copy of the Constitution right here and have actually read it. The Founders actually cautioned against political parties.

Vote libertarian or Constitutional, or Communist, well any other parties besides the major 2 if you want that to happen. Also, you have to get a lot of other people to vote for this also.

And just why do you think that partisan polities is not in the Constitution or that a Parliamentary system would be any better. If you think that there is gridlock and favoritism now, just wait until a behind the scenes, double dealing, back stabbing Parliamentary System were in place. You have strange ideas of what Partisan politics is and that it wouldn't exist in a Parliamentary system
