My son really enjoyed Lego Star Wars I & II on the pc and now he has a PS2 I am looking for similar types of adventure/action games on PS2 that he might like. In particular slightly older/cheaper games would be good as we are going to Computer Exchange tomorrow toget a couple of games to get him started. Other games he has enjoyed before are Sonic Adventure DX, Brave Dwarves etc.

They've Made Some Good Games In The Past Made For Everyone To Play, Very Acessable By Kids And Fun, Many Of Which Plays Kind Of Similar To The Lego Star Wars Games..
And Unless He Already Has Them, Check Out Other PlayStation-Exclusive Franchises Good For About All Ages, Like Any Ape Escape, Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter Games, Or Sly Cooper..
Note That The Latest Ratchet/Jak Games May Not Be Appropriate For All Ages.. As Always, Check The ESRB Rating On The Box Of Any Game To See If It's Right For Your Son..

the ape escapes are fun -- try katamari too. they just don't make many games for young children -- as odd as that sounds. my favorite platformers (games like sonic) are the ratchet and clank games. I don't know if they are too complex though. The Lego Star Wars are made for little kids -- its kind of surprising there aren't more.

Just got my 5 year old crash bandicoot he loves it good fun ( i am hooked myself)
