What gets some people confused here is that what Canadians call "hockey" almost everybody else in the British commonwealth calls "ice hockey", and what the commonwealth calls "hockey" Canada calls "field hockey". That's why you get some people saying that India or Indonesia hockey is the biggest, because they think you mean field hockey.
Real hockey ("ice hockey" the Brits) is biggest in Canada.

It's hard to say where it is the biggest. It is certainly not here in the U.S. Possibly the Czech republic or one of the Scandinavian countries.
