Remember that movie Howard the Duck? lol I saw something about it, and I remember I watched that movie before. I had totally forgotten everything about the movie...except I don't think it was very good. However, I do remember crying during the movie for some reason, but since I was so young when I watched it, I cannot remember why. Was that movie sad?

The movie was hysterical.
The biggest bomb in movie history produced and dircted by Ste Speilberg and George Lucas.
It is the story of a duck from a parallel dimension that gets sucked through a vortex to earth to become the manager or a girls band called the cherry bombs. In the end though it does look like Howard gets blown up in a battle of particle lazers that kills the villain and burns th clothes right off his back, but he is fine, touching moment and the band goes on tour with him at the helm.
But there is something hysterical about an amorous duck being your road manager.

Howard got into a mess of trouble. That was a goofy funny box office disaster. The movie was technoligically stretching for the time. I think the writers were all on cocaine and needed more.
Was well worth the $3.50 admission.

Yes, worse movie ever. No it was not sad, it just sucked because they director ruined his character. If you have ever read the comic books for Howard the Duck, you would know what I mean.

I am a child of the 80's. But, I managed to ditch that movie. The idea of a life size duck co-starring with Lea Thompson just didn't seem appealing to me.

I saw that many times!! haha, it was so cheesy, but I liked it. I think from what I can remember, Howard gets really sad because he doesn't know if he can get back home.

I was born in '81 and I remember that movie, although I never saw it. I did hear that it was one of the most horrifyingly stupid movies ever made though.
