Yep, all the time. Gets me in plenty of trouble especially while out shopping. Candy is just a teaser, it's 'oohhh isn't that pretty' and 'oohh look at that' all the way through the store. If I haven't spent at least $50 extra dollars when at the check out, then it will raid the candy too. Putting all that candy at the checkout has got to make stores plenty!
The big problem is that I have three real kids who do the same thing :-) Just to keep everyone happy, we shop at dollar stores and thrift shops a lot! When I do allow myself to go into the real toy stores (you, know Barnes and Noble, any crystal shop or heaven forbid, Home Depot) my inner child whines for hours. 'But it was such a pretty crystal! Can't we go back and get it??? Pleeease!!!!'
I suppose it's just a part of life that we grow to love, but I wouldn't trade my inner child in for anything. She's also the one who says 'I love you' even in the worst of times. She's the one who out of no were cracks the funniest jokes and she's the one who reminds me to play when I get too serious. So, even though she surely gets me in trouble, I love hearing what she has to say.
