Depends on your operating system. With windows XP all you do is control/alt/delete all together and chose "lock computer" it will eventually go to the screen saver and all you have to do is enter your password to release it and start using it again.

After you lock it, it will say, this computer is in use and has been locked. Then you control/alt/delete and enter your password and you are right back to the screen you were last on.

The I.E. question i couldn't say but about the screen saver you :
right-click on the desktop
double-click on properties in the menu that comes up
click on the screensaver tab
right next to the section where you choose how long before the screensaver becomes active is a check box labeled 'On resume, display welcome screen' click that box.
This will take you to the welcome screen and if you have your password setup it will prompt for it when you try to log back in. But don't forget to set up ur password in control panel first. It's in the user account section...This is for XP...

Folder password.
Right-click the folder that you want to make private and choose "Properties" (or Alt+Double-click). Go to the "Sharing" tab and check the "Make this folder private" box.
