Skunks pretty much stay where they are in a burrow; the picture for which I've provided a link is taken in March 2006 at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory north of Crested Butte, Colorado, at an elevation of approximately 11,000 feet.

Good question. I thought that they hibernated in the winter but with those pics I'm not so sure now. They have dens that they den up in, in the winter. I have one under my house that is getting too comfortable but how do I get him out?
