Blithe Spirit had this theme.
The wife died and the husband remarried. She haunts them both. He ended up dying at the end as well In a car crash and I think they both ended up sitting on the bridge.
The other wife may have died as well

i think in death becomes her. they dint become ghosts, just frail old women as the hubby sticks them back together after they take a potion that will keep them young forever.. unless i am wrong good luck
