Can you play your Playstation 2 On your portable DVD player?

I have this DVD player:

And i am going to buy a Play station 2 in this next wek but i was wondering if i could even hook up the playstation 2 to my DVD player and play games on that?
Would that work?

Check your player's instructions
to see if your portable player has a video input.

all u have 2 do is hook your colored cables to the back or wereever it goes then it should work
