I just moved to a new state so I don't know too many people yet, so I am going to dress up as a southern belle and go to my co-workers halloween party, and then either hand out candy or take my little brother trick-or-treating.

In the Philippines, it is customary for families to go to the cemetery and offer flowers, candles and food to dead relatives whom we believe, still roams around the place in spirit to visit their loved ones. Also, we make sure that food is left in the house for the other spirits to feast on even if it doesn't make any sense because they can't eat. My Aunt went for a vacation one time and did not leave any offerings when normally she does. Upon return, all the things in the house are in chaos, electric fans were thrown in the floor and the chairs and tables disarranged. From that time on, she will leave something to them during Halloween especially if nobody's home..
