Liberals are like the French. They believe in Socialism and that the best way to fight a war is to run and hide. The theory is that the enemy will get tired of looking for them will just go away. On the chance the enemy finds them then the Liberals (like the French) use phase 2 of their master war plan... appeasement and surrender.

The question should be why are so many Iraqi war vets running for office as liberal Democrates instead of conservatives backing the war and President Bush. Do they know what is really happening in Iraq? Why have so many generals retired and immediately condemmed Bush, cheney, rumsfeld and their handling of the war. Do they know a heck of a lot more than you and all the conservatives that eat into the propaganda Bush and company are sprewing forth every day? Where is the real evil? By the way I am a Viet Nam vet who serve with the First Cavalry Division back in 1966-67. I also do not like war. If you are so much for this war how come you aren't over there now.? If you have served a tour of duty why aren't you back there still fighting this war. During WWII the men stayed for the duration. That was the last war we won and was won under the direction of a Democratic commander-in-chief who fought in WWI. Our great present day commander-in-chief made sure he saw no combat during Viet Nam. Why do conservatives love this yellow-bellied, chicken-sh*t, coward so much along with Cheney and Rumsfelf who also didn't serve because of the big yellow streaks down their backs? That's the question that really needs to be answered.

Can't see the mote in your own eye, eh? Our military is being "cut" because Bush and you nuthead neocons won't stop this foolish destabilization of the middle East. What will you do when Korea sends a nuclear missile our way? Stand up with your chest out and take it like a "real 'Murrican"?
And about running from evil? Do you recall when Bush 1 was friends with Saddam, and we gave him the chemicals to "kill his own people" with? Where was the "running from evil" then?

"Cut and Run" .. you are too young to remember the Vietnam war .. which was similar in some ways ... when Nixon, the Republican came into office he got the troops out by calling it .. "Leaving with Honor" .. Both the same situations.. just different campaign slogans. Let me ask you something .. how long do we need to stay there until you would be willing to say that we are not cut and running ? It has been 4 or 5 years ... will it still be cut and run in another 5 years ? Another 10 years ? .. Think about it. Things are worse now over there than they ever were. Everyone agrees on that .. even the CIA. Good Luck and thank you ! :)

That is just the way nature(can't say god 'round libs) made them. Finding a lib with a backbone would be as difficult as pulling an elephant through a key hole.

It will be a Republican president in office when the US is airlifting the last Americans off the roof of the embassy in Baghdad, just as it was in Viet nam.

They were for telling the teacher or hiding when a bully was messing with them every day. They never realized that if you fight back, one of two things happen: Either you win and end the bully's reign, or you give a good fight and earn some respect so ALL the bullies thinks twice before they mess with you again.

I don't want to "cut and run" - that's conservative propaganda meant to make dissenters look unpatriotic.
I want to hand back Iraq, a sovereign nation that we invaded, back to the Iraqi people so that they might have a chance at self-rule, much like we have here. I don't want to spend the next decade losing our men and women to what is essentially a civil dispute amoung another countries citizens. It's never worked when we've gone in and forced democracy on a people. Only when the citizens of a country want it does it happen. Look at history. In fact, look at the current reports that indicate we are actually a good deal less safe because of this war that has created such stirring anger towards the US. People who otherwise lived in obscurity now are vehement in destroying us.
So thanks Mr. Bush. Well done.

I don't see how killing Iraqi civilians in sweat pants and tank tops is really "fighting evil." How long ago was it that we removed Saddam from power? And where are the connections between Iraq and 9/11?
I guess I didn't think "admitting we made a mistake" is quite the same as "cutting and running."
