I don't want to go through the charges and hassles of eBay and the local shop can't afford my collection. Any suggestions?

Well, you could always rent a table at a flea market. (That's how I started what eventually became my store.) But unless you offer them really cheaply, you'll probably have many or most of them left over, so you'll need to go again the following week, etc. With the problem of diminishing returns kicking in after your comics have been looked at a few weeks.

For best results, refer to the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide before offering them.

Be certain to grade accurately! No one wants to pay extra for your wishful thinking.

You will sell the more popular issues faster by offering them individually, but you might get rid of them faster offering them in 'lots' by title, or a year or 10 (or 25 or whatever) issues per 'lot'. Usually you end up making a price concession with this method.

Depends on what you really want.
