Shin splint cures:
-Sit in a chair and dangle your feet above the ground. Use the point of your toes to spell out the alphabet in the air. Go through the alphabet twice on each foot two times a day.
-Ice: freeze water in medium size dixie cups. Use these to ice your shins, unwrapping the cup from around the ice as you go so that the ice is making direct contact with th skin.
-Lastly, and sometimes painful, get a hold of a metal pipe. Put it in the freezer. Then, start at the base of the ankle and roll the bar lightly up your shin.
