Volume is the total space contained in any object while circumference is the length of the outer periphery. For example volume of a sphere is 4/3*Pi*r^3 in cubic meters where as circumferece of a circle is 2*Pi*R which is in meters.

C = pi*r^2 or C=pi*d
volume of a rectangular prism =
V = B*h
volume of a cube =
V=s^3
volume of a cylinder =
V = pi*r^2*h

This is a vague question. Volume, circumference of what? A sphere? The circumference of a sphere of radius r is 2*pi*r. The volume of a sphere of radius r is V=(4/3)*pi*r^3. If you want to know more, then please elaborate.

Volume- How much will fit in something( ex. How much water will fit in a cup) Circumference- the distance around something ( like when fitting a hat, they measure the circumference of your head)

Circumference is the distance around a circle or sphere. it has linear measure (ft, in, cm etc)
Volume is the space something takes up or its capacity. it has cubic measure (in^3, ft^3, cm^3 etc or units with names just for volume (Litrers, Gals etc)

volume is the amount of space confined within any kind of solid material, (i.e. sphere, cube, or anything with three dimensions).
Circumference relates to a circle; it is the total distance of around the circle, similar to a perimeter, when dealing with rectangle, square, triangle,etc.

Of a sphere:

Volume=(4/3)pi*r^3

Cur. = pi* times the diameter =pi*d
=pi* times radius times 2 =pi*r2
