I believe there are more kinds of love and reasons for love then what you just started with, but you're off to a great start, and you are very right....for example for the next on list....loving out of pity,it's not really love, just like the selfish love, but it's still out there.

Reguradless when the one you love leaves its going to hurt like hell. And NO ONE wants to lose the one they love. Love is selfish there is no difference. Ture love becomes more selfish. YOu want that person in your life. Everyone is selfish but it just gets back when the other person doesn't matter. BUt if someone wants to leave there is erally nothing you can do besides suffer and move on.

I believe in true love but I don't believe there is someone out there for me. I'm 24 and never been on a date before. I do think it exists, yes because I've seen it before

i think there is only one kind of love and the rest are just well infatuations, lust, etc... "Love is patient, love is kind. Love is not jealous or boastful, or proud, or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenver the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." i think the only think that matters with regards to love and relationship between people is how much you love that other person....

I believe there are 2 kinds of love>>>
1- a strong liking (for yourself, others or something).
2- doing something good, on purpose, for the reason of showing someone (self included) that you care about them.
I don't believe selfishness is about love/caring about yourself, or about others.
I believe it's about being careless, thoughtless, inconsiderate (even inconsiderate of yourself in the long-run)... because selfishness can hurt others & can cause you to end up being alone & lonely.

By definition love is noble. It is more giving than taking. If you love selflessly you will never get upset if you do not get any thing out of it since you wanted to only give and not get any thing out of it. your partner in most cases will respond with equal warmth. If you are selfish you are not in love. You are merely wanting sex or merely male company.
