for more than 250 yrs, the british east india company ruled in india, used tailor made laws o work its dirty way out, took away billions of dollars worth wealth. how can they accuse saddam, he still looks like a gentleman as a benchmark! they killed 1000 times more people than saddam. they must return a billion dollars a month untill return all they took from this country.

The billion dollars a month is a bit exaggerated, but you raise a good point. The answer lies in political expediency and the fact that the West in general (i.e. the former colonial powers) are now the capitalist superpowers. In other words, there is no higher court that will bring any of the former colonizers to trial for wha they did, and indeed what some of them are still doing. Furthermore, the only reason Saddam is being tried is that it is politicall expedient. The US needed to mask the real reasons for the Iraq invasion by claiming that the goal was to overthrow a dictator.

What specific member of the British East India Company are you
planning to prosecute? You can try individuals for crimes,not companies that don't exist any more. Do you plan to prosecute the United Kingdom for things that happened centuries ago,before
any of the people living there were born? Good luck with that.
Saddam Hussein is a truly evil,psychotic man who has nothing to do with any of that. It's all in the past,Britain and India are moving into the future.Maybe it's time to live in the present.

To state the obvious: Everyone involved in running the British East India Company is long dead. Note that we're not holding Iraq as a nation responsible for Saddam's misdeeds, we're holding Saddam the individual responsible.
Of course, it's also true that only the defeated are held accountable for the misdeeds. That's realpolitik for ya.

cause white people run this world! (i'm not racist or anything but it is true) jus cause it is a rich country no one wants to say anything to it. Only thing that matters is money, if you have money you have power and if you have power you can get away with almost anything. Thats what i think.
