I would bet that your family, friends and even many strangers would strongly disagree with your position on whether you are worth dying for.

Someone else already mentioned Jesus and our soldiers, both of which were extremely good answers.

People who are post-death organ donors, although they aren't choosing to die, believe that others are worth saving even though they don't know the organ recipient. Think too of people that are live organ donors, those that donate blood, bone marrow, etc. obviously think there are many people worth saving - why not you?

There are millions of emergency service personnel around the world that put there lives on the line each and every day. People who are "instant heroes" in the spur of a crisis think others are worth saving, even though they don't know them. There are also millions of volunteers around the world that help others improve their lives or the world around us.

If you truly feel you aren't worth dying for you seriously need to talk to someone that can help you determine the reasons for your feelings and help you work through the feelings to know that you have the potential to make this world a better place for yourself as well as everyone else on earth.

Take care.

don't meen to get off the am I worth it subject, but I have a question for those with an answer. Why did God send his son to save us? Why did not God himself save us? He is the one, the all, correct? Why did God give us free will and right and wrong? Wouldn't that make this a test, an experiment to see if a creature in his image can do whatever result God is intending. It sounds kind of scientific, and to me we are a scientific people, and since we are in his image that should too make God a scientist. Don't get me wrong, but I tend to believe that God is a chemist, philospher, author, and every other kind of ism, er, ist, etc.

Now back to the situation at hand, does that then meen that each one of us is worth it, or not. What if we are just little bugs in a petri dish? What if it is the cumulation of us that is better, and not the individual? What if its the opposite? What if we are indispensible?

That's not what Jesus says. He loves you and me so much that He came down from Heaven and wrapped himself up in flesh and was beaten and mocked and spit upon before being nailed to a cross so that we could be with Him forever. That's how much Jesus thinks you are worth dying for!

"When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. 1 Peter 2:23-25

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. John 3:16-17

i develop into going to furnish a respectable answer, yet some different person's answer had a extra perfect element. He got here again to existence, so as it isn't regularly a sacrifice. this is going to sound a touch anti-american, yet easily one of my heroes is che guevara. That man made a sacrifice and he not in any respect got here again. He died so as that his beliefs might want to have a risk. no matter if I accept as true with what his beliefs were or what he did to attain them, i recognize him as a guy who sacrificed himself for what he believed in. Jesus did die, yet coming again and going to heaven makes him look plenty a lot less inspirational, to me, for my section and the outcome is i do not care if he died for me. Had he stayed lifeless, then definite i'd were extra respectful, yet I keep my recognize for the lifeless.

Yes I am. Jesus thought I was 2000 years ago, and he died for you also. All you have to do is accept him as your personal Saviour. Why do you feel your life isn't worth much, when it is actually worth a lot?

You certainly are worth dying for. Soldiers are dying to protect your freedom. There are people who would willingly give their lives to save yours. Jesus died for you (and me).
Email me if you wish, but I think that you would be better off talking to a lady, a teacher or counselor at school.

Oh, yes you are. God thought you (and me, and everyone else who ever lived or will live) were worth enough to send His Son to pay the price of salvation for everybody.

Now, THAT'S a thought to chew on when you get to feeling worthless.
