how can I align the background of a table to the right?

its not a normal table, its a table with scroll bars, and I want the background aligned to the right.

I am using frontpage, the code looks something like this....

And I would like to know how to make it stop repeating the background so I get white space at the left and the pic at the right of the table

use style sheets for that. remove the background attribute from the table tag.

do not use the following because it will only work in internet explorer. everything will still be aligned left in the other 150 browsers.

instead use the following

I think you need to supply program information for this question to be answered. What are you using to create the table??
