I try hard in school and it seems like I just fail at everything. I'm about ready just to drop out of my college, even though I was within 6 months of graduating, but now I failed a class and I won't grad for 9 months now. Some shot me please?

As a single mom, you have other things to worry about in life. You need to take just one course at a time in order to do better in the courses. You are seeing that trying to finish FAST is really "slow".

Other than that, keep on keeping on. Believe me, I feel frustration and despair often enough - everyone does, even people who are financially well off. It seems to be part of human nature. Try to talk to your family and friends, find someone worse off and give them a little help (there are many people worse off, just look on the streets). Yeah, I know, it does not make you feel better that there are others who are worse off, but give them a little bit of help, even if it is just a nickel. You will feel better. No harm in trying it, right?

Honestly ask yourself if you did everything you should have to get a good grade. Most of the time people fail it's because they didn't study as much as they know they should have, didn't ask for help, or attend study groups when they knew they weren't grasping the concept, or they spent a lot of the partying.

Unfortunately, it is sometimes hard for single parents to find time to study and feel they are being good parents. The truth of it is, you sometimes have to temporarily put off on some of the little things you to with your child now, in order to be a better parent in the long run.

Don't give up when you've gotten so close. Hell, it took me 6 years to get a 2 year degree (was working full time and changed my major about 4 times). If it takes a little longer, so be it. Stretch it out a bit more by taking a lighter, more manageable course load.

Not to be mean, but you need to quit feeling sorry for yourself. You are not a loser. Maybe you need to take a look at your courses and see if you are taking some that are too hard for you. It is disappointing to have to put off graduation but you still CAN graduate. Get a tutor.

I'm not tyring to sound rude, but do you think your life will get any better if you just quit. Yah, it sucks. Suck it up, and finish. We all do the best we can with what we have. I understand that you get no breaks, but imagine what you can do with a degree. If you quit now, you're life will not be any better.

God never gives you more than you can handle.

Yeah, give up and be a failure. That is the easy way out.
Stick with it, and you be ever so glad that you did.
