Have you ever heard that it is a custom after marriage to give a cockroach to the couple?

Supposedly it is good luck if the roach infests the home, this has to be a pantload..right?..right?

Yes but I would sooner get a toaster,blender or something that won't be crawling up my leg when I'm in bed sleeping.

no, roaches carry dieseases and would have been taken as an insult.
