He would still be a legend in the way marlon brando was. You wouldn't see much of him and his singing would probably limited to a few guest appearances on records by younger bands. He would also have had a cameo in a quentin tarantino film. Mainly reclusive he would come in and out of fashion over the years.
People who think he was only famous because he died young are forgetting how long he was around for, from the late 50's to his death in 77, he was no flash in the pan and was a huge star for most of his life.
Of course he may have just ended up on celebrity big brother, who knows.

He would perform duets with Tony Bennett or even Christina Aguillera in some crossover fashion - Tony Bennett is still going strong in his 80's. Elvis would have stopped the drugs, lost the weight and even made a few TV appearances.

Definitely not - because he would have grown old. I was a huge fan of Elvis also, but he has been immortalised because he died young. Same with Marilyn Monroe, JFK, James Dean etc. If you die young people will always remember the youthful good looking person, not the fat older version.

I think if he was still alive he would definitely still be as famous. He was very famous when he was alive...it was not his death that made him famous, he had established that in life. I would suspect he would not be performing since he would be over 70 years old.

No, because artists that die young like actors/actresses become bigger in death and the ledgend is greatly exagerated. Elvis was a good singer but he would have ended up as annoying as Paul Anka or Wayne Newton .

Definitely not! His death has immortalized him, just like the early deaths of other celebrities like Marliyn Monroe. Besides, Elvis was on a pretty slippery slope and would have ultimately destoyed his career if he were still alive.

I think no, but he would be playing somewhere better than a bingo hall! He would probably still be in Vegas.

I think he would have screwed it up. Look at Michael Jackson, Paul Mccartney, and everyone else that is/was famous. They tend to screw things up for themselves, and that's how you measure someone's popularity. Same can be said about John Lennon.
