If a circle's circumference is 12 feet, what is the radius rounded to the nearest tenth of a foot?

C = 2pi * r
12 = 2pi * r
r = (12/(2pi))
r = 6/pi

ANS : radius = 1.9 ft

The formula for circumference of a circle is given as

C = 2pi(radius)

12= 2 pi (r)

r = 12/(2 pi) = 1.909 ft or 1.91 ft
