If he is, would this pose a threat to other nations (especially the US)? Would this lead to a war? Would that war involve the US? Would the war be like the 2nd Korean War or the 3rd World War? Who would support the North Koreans? I'm 14 and I'm kinda concerned but I don't know what will happen if Kim Jong il decides to attack another country.

He is not crazy, contrary to the way our media portrays him. Talk to South Koreans and they understand that Kim Jong Il is quite sane, but he is saber rattling because only by attaining nuclear weapons can he keep his regime together.

North Korea will not objective any American soil with any missile. You do ought to comprehend that there is fierce opposition on those 24-hour information channels so as that they should make each and every thing appear like a dire emergency to get you to observe. cut back the phobia-mongering out for a 2d and seem on the situation rationally and you spot it is yet yet another case of lots being made out of not something. in case you have been extremely paying interest you're able to have heard SecDef Gates say North Korean missiles can not attain so a ways as Hawaii.

He's definitely willing to test nukes. However, there's no need for war to result from that, and if there is a war, there's no reason why the U.S. would have to be involved - although we most likely would be, given that Bush is president.

Testing nukes is one thing. Launching a nuclear first strike is another thing entirely. The guy is crazy but he's no fool; I really don't see him attacking anyone with nukes. His purpose is mainly to prevent the United States from attacking him.

How come when another country tests nuclear weapons they are called crazy, but when the U.S. tested them it was OK. Why is it ok for Americans, and their allies like Israel, to have nuclear weapons but it is considered an act of aggression for other countries to have them. But to answer your question yes Kim Jong IL will test his nukes, and no, a war will not result from this.

Yes, he is and probably will. Not sure if there will be war or not, but atmosphere of peace will be changed dramatically when he does. IMO, he is a despot who has little if any concern for anyone else in the world.

He isn't the first to test a nuke. As I recall USA was the first country to slaughter thousands using a nuclear bomb.
