If it`s small enough I would soak it in the bathtub, or hang it outside and use the hose on it and let it drip dry.
Some of them can be washed in the machine if they are not too big and depending on what kind of backing they have on them....

Use the washing machine on delicate or run through a rinse cycle with some vinegar. Don't use heat when you put it in the dryer.
