because heb.ch.8:13 says that the old covenant was set aside.jesus said freely you have received,freely you give.so should we use the system of tithing or the system of giving? jesus came to fulfill the law:so is the word tithe accurate;or the word give based on the basis of the new covenant.

That is correct, although the Old Testament says to tithe 10%, in the New Testament, Jesus said give freely what you can give. And do so with an open heart.
A lot of people stick to giving 10% because it is easy to remember.

God does not need your money. Never has. He would much rather having 10% of you. The reason you should give to a church or any orginazation is that you feel they are doing good works and you wish to see those works continued.
Any church commanding you to pay 10% has missed this very simple premise. Please remember that most religions ARE a very organized business.
How many times I've heard that in a Christian church, that we are freed from the OT (Heb 8:13) Then next week they want your 10% as quoted from the OT.
