My mom called me one night and thought my dad was having a stroke. I, immediately got into my car and drove to the hospital to meet them there. On my way, I called my sister and told her it was important for her to come. She replied, "I'm sleeping right now" and I thought....WTF! Needless to say she never came.

i had a problem with addiction (i am gratefully clean now) but i went to my mum once for help & believe me it was an emergency & she threw me out of the house ........i learnt later on that she didnt know how to help me & felt really scared, so i would suggest to seek help elsewhere especially for an emergency situation, counsellor, close friend, teacher....be safe!

Nothing what you can do , just stand by and monitor the situation if is going out of control, and you can help.

I just did what I had to do. Sometimes you just have to make unnecessary scarifies because family does not always have your back especially when you really need them.

There is nothing you can do. If you can't depend on them, then don't ask them for help. You have to find a way to make it on your own.
