◙ Signup for the free Geocities homepage here http://geocities.yahoo.com/ps/learn2/HowItWorks4_Free.html Be careful Yahoo likes to fool you so you will accidentally signup for one of their premium (paid) accounts. They will misguide you if you let them. Here is a page that will take you on a tour http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/geo/tour/tour-01.html

◙ NOTE: Most people don't bother reading the help pages. Be smart and skim through them so you'll know where to get help when you need it in a hurry.

There are several ways. It depends on what you want. If you just want a blog page, go to Yahoo! 360. That is free. If you want more than that, one way would be to buy a domain name from GoDaddy ($14, I think), and then something they call Web Site Tonight. It is a small customized program to set up a web page, and will walk you through the process with templates and choices and it is apparently very easy. I have only gotten started, myself.

If you want more than that, I recommend you get a copy of Dreamweaver and a good manual, and slowly prepare a web site that is exactly what you want. Then go to GoDaddy or some other hosting site to put it on the Internet.

Good luck!
