A fanatic of any kind shouldn't be voted in by the people. But if one were that's the way the system works and you have no right to challenge it. You just gotta be a Democrat... if an election doesn't go the way you want you challenge it on any grounds that you can, or keep crying about it for 6 years and counting.

In the USA, as it is SUPPOSED to be, anybody who wins an HONEST election where ALL the votes are counted should hold the office s/he won. HOWEVER... IN the office the First Amendment principles of religion/state separation MUST be observed, despite any personal feelings to the contrary.
This separation is something religious fanatics, and pseudo-fanatics like Dumbya, have great difficulty with. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

Wow talk about twisting religious beliefs into fanaticism. I've never hear Bush say praise god or hallelujah or god told me this or things like that.
Way to go on exaggerating, like Dems do.
Plus you don't really know much on the founding of this country do you.

If they try to push their beliefs on the public, they are violating the 1st amendment. But, to answer your question, yes they have a right to hold public office IF they meet all the criteria for that office.

Sure. As long as they don't breach the wall of separation. Which the republicans do with annoying regularity. The Faith Based Initiative is the most prominent example.

Unless they break a law, they deserve to be there. The majority voted them in. There is separation of church and state.
