IMMENSELY MIND-BOGGLINGLY JEALOUS.
But deep down inside, they understand why Clinton is so well liked and why George Bush is so widely reviled. It would kill them to admit it, because it would mean they find themselves on the wrong side, but they know.

Sure, Clinton was well-liked, but we conservatives feel frustration that he was well-liked even though his administration accomplished absolutely nothing. He was NOT a leader in any sense of the word.
The frustration that many liberal democrats feel at (what they see as) the "hicks" from the "red states" voting for G. Bush is comparable. We like to say that the other side "just doesn't get it".
The trick is, the conservatives have something to "get", while the liberals seem to cling to the cult of personality. Bill Clinton and his ilk exude likability, nothing else. His entire administration was characterized by scandal, sleaze, and political correctness. He didn't make any decisions without consulting the polls. He wasn't a president, he was the spokesman for the Democratic Party.
Democrats like to remember the 90's fondly because technology was making the economy expand. Clinton had nothing to do with the prosperity at the time.
Conservatives defend morals and institutions. Liberals just attack, attack, attack unless they're playing "the victim". Don't believe me? What is the DNC platform besides pro-choice...?

I think conservatives aren't so much jealous of Bill Clinton as they are remorseful that their guy George W. Bush doesn't have 10% of the intellect that Clinton possesses. Bush is an empty suit, whereas Clinton was a Rhodes scholar and brilliant articulator on almost any subject regarding domestic or foreign policy. Agree or disagree with him, you have to like and respect a man of Clinton's depth. Bush, by contrast, is a shallow man of privilege. So, this causees conservatives to lament their own leader, and perhaps envy that their own champion of their cause is so intellectually vapid. So it's not so much jealosy of Clinton, but rather the regrets they have about Bush.

Why should we be jealous of Bill. We have not used the White House for a motel for high rollers from Hollywood, we have not been brought up on impeachment charges, we have not had to keep hiring lawyers to defend our president on charges of lieing in court.Must I say more.

Jealous of him being a coward? No. Reagan was and is more popular than Clinton, so it would be illogical to be jealous of him.

yes pretty much.
But keep in mind that these trolls are not really conservatives.
They are mainly angry little bigots who treat politics like a football game.
If a true conservative showed up, they wouldnt recognize him or her.
Spend Spend Spend, lie lie lie, spin spin spin.
