there are some very good runs of salmon along the inside passage in the summer months.

consider narrowing your question down a bit. fresh or saltwater ?
king, sockeye, chum, pink or coho salmon ? boat or bank fishing ? fly-in or roadside access ? fly, lure or bait fishing ? guided or un-guided ?

books such as ALASKA FISHING, THE HIGHWAY ANGLER, THE ANGLERS GUIDE TO ALASKA , HOW TO CATCH ALASKAS TROPHY FISH, and the MILEPOST should help u narrow down your quest.
