Don't get me wrong because I don't think the demos are any better at all. I just thought maybe others would like to make their say on what they think about this issue. How can a person trust a party if they are not what they say they are? Kind of two faced if you ask me. I don't care if a person is gay or not. Why would they need to hide things to get a job? I am more down meaning thumbs down (when in the hell did the meaning of being down with something turn in to a thumbs UP meaning? that is so backwards.) with someone when they lie.

Since when does a persons sexual preference become part of political preference ? What does one have to do with the other ?
What's the political party for someone who is asexual ??( And don't say Independent -the question was meant to be facetious ).
Are you saying that to be a democrat or republican , you give up all personal preferences ? I'm so sure ..NOT

When I was a Republican (yes, I confess; sufficiently anti-Democratic machine politics to go that far!), there was a special Gay Republicans group. Of course, that was in San Francisco, so maybe that is the only place it exists. Their idea was that they were trying "from within" to persuade the GOP that this should be a privacy issue, not a moral issue. That is, GOP is generally in favor of privacy, so why not in sexual matters as well?

Of course, they were resigned to being at least partly closeted as a result, but that is certainly better than being exploited shamelessly, the way the Dems do.

It's an interesting question. Why also do gays attend churches that won't let them get baptized because they are gay?
