If they are here illegally and you hire them for any paid labor ... then yes, it's true. If you know that they are illegally here, then you cannot hire them. If you hire them for any paid labor and the immigration finds out that you know they are illegal ... that could spell a lot of trouble for you.

If they are in this country illegally, doing any kind of work for pay is even more illegal. It is illegal for you to hire them.
