i need an email account for my official stuff which one should i use? apart from msn ....

If you want to look professional, you'll get your own domain name. For amateur looking appearance, then you can get whatever you want - gmail, yahoo, msn, juno, whatever.

If you want a free email account and yet want to look pro and trouble free from hacking and stuff try gmail.com and if you want a paid service for pro email account of your choice try the first link below. If you want to have a website and similar email like you@yoursite.com then you book a website you will get web mail under your hosting package.

Yahoo has free mail. I think their free mail is the best, but if it is official stuff you might want to get the basic paid Yahoo mail.
