Pretty nice.We have gov't housing a block away, but they are required to keep the outsides neat & cleaned or they are fined $50. We do have a drug paraphinilla store down the road, and I'm pretty sure they sell drugs to certain people. Cops can't catch them because owner is to smart for their so called tricks.

I live in a nice town and there are still drugs here. I think that no matter where you live there are drugs if that is your question. It's not that "poor people" or "homeless druggies" are moving into your neighborhood...rich people use too. All classes. That goes for trash as well, people smoke and just throw their trash out the car window. Some kid (rich or poor) gets done with his/her candy bar and gets lazy and simply throws his/her trash out in the road. In my opinion it all depends on how you were raised or what your beleifs are as an individual setting aside the pre-programming of the brain by the parents.

this is a ludicrous question. you're assuming that all human beings lives in a similar neighbourhood or comparable all their lives and that's infrequently the case. Like many human beings i've got lived in tough inner city components - as a pupil, unemployed and a teenager with little money, and then whilst quickly as I had an excellent job - using fact initially i could not have the money for to stay everywhere else yet then additionally using fact I enjoyed the multiculturalism and the colourful nature of the place I lived. it is all approximately stages of existence. Now i'm married with stepkids and we survive an exceedingly white rural housing sources with a o% crime fee. the all human beings is uninteresting, there is not lots to do (whether it is large for dogs walks) and that i've got an prolonged shuttle to artwork. i understand i'm fortunate to have the alternative yet you are able to not generalise approximately human beings not understanding. Sorry i'm in the united kingdom - have not a clue concerning the united states of a.

I live in an upper middle class area, no drugs, violence or such that we are aware of. Some of us pay for a landscape maintenance company who ensure that the area is always quite neat and clean. People do pick up those stray papers etc that might have been left from garbage pickup, everyone seems to take a lot of pride in their home.

We do have areas such as you described but they are mostly in low rental housing sections...there are none of these areas close to us though.

We live a cross the street from the Mayor and maybe 10 blocks from a well known drug area. No where in America is safe to live. Are area is full of the old and aging. You could live in the suburbs and have drug dealers live next door. Check out Weeds on showtime.

I live in what's called 'College Town' It's part of Iowa State University. Mostly all students and professors live here. Mostly gated complexes and ISU special police patrol all the time. Very safe. (of course there is drug activity but it's not obvious)

From my experience, even the classiest neighbourhoods have drug-activity. It is just hidden a little better. The percentage of professionals who use or are addicted to drugs is very high.
