i need to do a poster presentation on a molecule that was mentioned recently in a magazine article. i need some good ideas, other ppl are doing gasoline, zoloft, and alcohol. help me get some ideas??

Taxol is always a good one - it is an anticancer agent produced by BMS and it comes from the bark of the Pacific Yew tree (Taxus brevifolia Nutt.). It's usually a hot topic. I am also doing this for a seminar, but granted it's more involved than a poster. You'll be able to get a lot of good stuff for it.

Sugar... fats... and other carbohydrates are always mentioned in magazine articles. Can do a sucrose molecule (table sugar) and put sugar on your poster...

How about Carbon Dioxide - major greenhouse gas, essential for plant photosynthesis, respiration by-product for animals etc etc
