How do you wash Pillows?

I don't want to just refresh them in the dryer, they are dirty and I want to know if putting them in the washing machine on a normal cycle is okay.

I PUT MINE IS THE WASHER ALL THE TIME, WITH BLEACH. JUST MAKE SURE THEY ARE EVENLY BALANCED IN THE WASHER THEN POP THEM IN THE DRYER.....USE TENNIS BALLS FOR ADDED FLUFF.
