Wow! Isn't it amazing how people on Yahoo Answers keep going over the impeachment of Bill Clinton as thought it just happened yesterday? Isn't it amazing that he was aquitted? Just like Andrew Johnson was?Clinton was impeached on two counts, grand jury perjury and obstruction of justice. Maybe people do know, but simply don't care anymore, as it was over 6 years ago and we have better things to worry about right now, like the illegal war in Iraq and getting thru the midterm elections.

He was impeached for lying under oath about receiving a B.J. from Monica L.
His lie is nothing compared to the lies King George tells, those lies have killed hundreds of thousands of people and have damaged America in many ways.

The Republican disgust has little to do with him getting a BJ in the white house...it has EVERYTHING to do with him LYING UNDER OATH. That's against the law regarless of the topic, or the party. Clinton was a lying piece of ****, and an embarrassment to the nation.

For lying under oath to a grand jury which her later admitted was true! He was deeply disgraced and embarrassed, but was not removed from office.

I'm WAY more concerned that GEORGE BUSH wasn't!
Clinton just lied about cheating on his wife.
Bush broke 26 laws spying on U.S. citizens, broke International law (with Iraq), changed our Constitution in highly un-American ways, and misused our military by sending them into Iraq under a SERIES of FALSE PRETENSES.

Does it even matter? Reagan was a drooling alzheimers ridden puppet of a president and he is still worshiped.God knows why.
So even if Clinton lied under oath about getting a *******, it doesnt matter and this is probably why conservatives hate him to this day. No one who supported him as a president cared about that silly impeachment nonsense and they cant stand it.

What they forget is that he was witchhunted into questions about his sex life.
Rather than saying he wasnt having "relations" he should have said "go fk yourself".
