I am only afraid of the terrorist when the government tells me to be.

Terrorists are more frightening, but the odds of my encountering one are far less than the odds of my being confronted with the stupidity, baseness and wrong-headedness of the current government and its bureaucracy. So while I try not to use words like "fear" at all if I can help it, I am more concerned with my own government than with terrorists.

Having said that, I will point out that we do have a Constitution, and it is a good one, and if we can get the Supreme Court to defend it properly, we have a better chance for peace, love and happiness than anything the terrorists want us to have. So while I may "fear" the government more than the terrorists because of the odds mentioned above, I hate the terrorists more.

Even though I do fear the government under the control of George W. bush and the Republican party, I do fear terrorist more. I do believe though that our own government is presently interferring more with our lives and our lifestyle more each and every day, I believe the terrorist are planning something that will affect all of us more than 9/11 did. As phil stated above, we can get rid of the republicans in the next election.

To be honest, I fear neither of them. However, the government is what has this country in terror. The government allows the media to put out that front they call "news coverage" which does not produce FACTS but focus on the smallest corner of the smallest piece of a larger puzzle. Not to mention the people we have running this country that are so blatant in displaying how idiotic they are; I'm in terror seeing the fools on television that the American people have appointed to be its leaders. But, as stated in one of the greatest movies of all time (V For Vendetta): "People should not fear its government; government should fear its people." Thank you and good night.

I fear people like you because this is yet another question trying to put the government down. Its morons like you that give the government a bad name. We should all stick together and respect our president. That's what living in the US is all about. If you think you could do a better job, I'd love to see you try!!!

The government.............terrorists are cowards and I will never be afraid of them. I also think there is very little chance that a terrorist will have much impact on my life.
