im around about 17weeks and it was so clear, took ages coz all he wanted to do is sleep but i went for a walk and he finally gave us a peek!!
so anyone wondering if you can tell this early the answer is yes you can, my baby may have been shy but he gave in in the end and let us see, just after the pic was taken he put his hand over his winky, seeing him and knowin what he is was the best feeling
i only wish id have seen what my other 4 were.

congrats! its so cool to know the gender of your little one. I just found out i'm having a girl..my first ultrasound didn't show, but at 22 weeks she sure did! i have placenta previa so they have to continue doing ultrasounds to determine the placement of my placenta. Hope you have a happy, healthy pregnancy!!!

In our Lamaze class there were 8 couples. Everyone one had an ultrasound. Only 3 of us had the sex we were told we would have. 5 out of 3 isn't a good average.
I hope for your sake that it is a boy, but I wouldn't put all your weight in that scan. Prior to 21 weeks their sex organs are not fully formed so it would be impossible for anyone to verifiably tell you you are having a boy.
Have another scan after 21 weeks before you whole heartedly believe its a boy, would be my advice to you.

uhhh, I never heard of anybody finding out the sex of the baby at 17 weeks! Technology really has come a long way. Unfortunately for me I had to wait 'til 36 weeks and even then the babies were stubborn and wouldn't let us see! It was a little more exciting not knowing the sex of either one though!Congratulations! What is you question though???

Congratulations! Isn't technology wonderful? When I had my children, I had to wait for nearly 6 months to find out the sex. It is nice knowing what you are expecting. Good luck.
