Try to open up conmunication with him /her about what is wrong. If talking does not work and you break up, you could join a support group go out with friends , but give it time. Do not try to be "friends" at first give each other space. If you had a truly good relationship you can be friends.If the person comes back , it is meant to be if not time heals ,take it and get on with your life.Sometimes when one door closes another opens. Smile , be yourself and do not call them first.

Its simply very clear that your partner is either angry with some of your act or he/she has found someone else.
May be he/she did not like some act of yours.
Love is simply trusting, If you trust in him/her , he will come back.
In simple words " if he/she comes back than he/she is yours, if he/she does not come back feel that he/she was never yours"
" When GOD leads you to the edge of the difficulty.
Trust him fully and let-go....
Only one of the two things will happen
Either he will catch you When you fall
or
He will teach you HOW TO FLY !!!!

You need to let them go.If you truely love them you wish them the best in life even if it means your loss.
Im sorry but that just it .You let them go and if they come back you know that you have something great.

if u truly love that guy..then u must think this way that if he wants to go away then u shud be happy that he is getting what he wants though u r losing him...
n one more thng if he comes back to you after realising the love for u..then take my word u wont lose him ever..
