immortality is not meant for mankind. i'll just leave it as it is OR destroy it permanently. just like the fountain of youth, immortality promises nothing but mundane happiness and existence. But if you'll really think about it, why would you want to live forever if all your loved ones are gone? you are the sole survivor of your generation and there will come a time it's going to be lonesome and empty.

another thought to ponder, what if it falls to evil hands? then there will be no end to his evildoings. if it falls to the right hands, it might create a temptation so luring that the people having good intentions might be eaten up by their own greed.

exactly like the Lord of the Rings.

Leave it be, I think! I do not know if I want immortality. I am afraid of death do not get me wrong but I do not know if I would want to live forever. It would be really lonely and I don't know if I love anyone enough to have them immortal too (except my family). I guess there would be a plus to being immortal but it is just not for me.

Each of us has the key to immortality. It's a free gift paid for by our Lord Jesus at Calvary and all we have to do is accept it. We are immortal; the decision is up to each of us where we'll spend that eternity.

I have no idea, i don't know what to do with a long week end how would i occupy myself for eternity.

As a history buff i think it may have been interesting to have been alive in the past and live through until today and perhaps longer still

but with my short attention span generated by today's society i can not see living forever with today as my starting point.

I would split immortality up into 6 billion pieces and share it with everyone in the world. in all seriousness, it is the greatest feeling in the world to know that you have saved a life. id like to know what it would feel like to save 6 billion lives.

Who wants to live on this earth forever? I certainly don't. I don't want to watch succeeding generations destroy themselves, each other and the planet.
Eternal life, now, is a different matter. I've found the key to that, and am looking forward to it.

Throw it away. I had a pair of Jehovah's Witnesses ring my door bell today. The opening remark was " would you like eternal life".
I replied that that was the most horrible thing I could think of. Can you imagine getting out of bed on your ten billionth morning and trying to decide what to do today?

I would throw it away. Immortality would be a curse. Everything must die at some point. Circle of life, my friend.

I dont know in all honesty. Part of me would want to see what it would be like to live longer than the expected age (75 for a woman etc) but why woould i want to live so long without my loved ones?

To be blunt, id rather die with them, naturally.
