Rubbing alcohol or a product called "Goo Gone"

2006-10-07 07:22:15 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

You can either buy a product called Goo Gone at places like Walmart or if you have something on hand like a spray & wash, shout, or even Pam cooking oil, that will work. The oily ingredient is absorbed into the sticker making it easier to remove. Then you can wipe the case with a cloth dipped in dishsoap and water to remove any oily residue.

Use alcohol or mineral spirits(paint thinner) to remove the residue from the sticker. Acetone will melt the plastic case. Do a final clean up with soap and water.Always start with a cleaner which is the least strongest...soap and water, mineral spirits(paint thinner) alcohol, acetone,or lacquer thinner. In that order. Good Luck !
