They're annoying, like mosquitos coming to suck my blood on a hot summer day.

I don't "hate" Republicans, but I am saddened for what they stand for in this era. Conservatism in the mold of Barry Goldwater was honest and secular, though I rarely agreed with him. I could respect him. The current brand of "Christian-led conservatism" that is the base of the Repulican party is intolerant, anti-life, anti-science, regressive, and extreme to the core. Moderate Republicans have lost their voice in their own party. It's sad, as I wrote, but "hate" is not quite the right feeling I have toward the Republicans.

I am a radical Democrat, although I do not hate all Republicans. Republicans and Democrats alike have made amazing contributions to our great nation. I just happen to disapprove of nearly all of our current president's policies.

Don't hate republicans, I dislike their blindness to reality. It is fueled by greed.
