That is very good advice. Even if the guy is separated, it is never, ever a good idea to come in to that situation. Usually just because a couple is separated doesn't mean that their relationship is over or resolved. It most definitely isn't resolved yet, since they are not divorced.

You're asking for trouble and heartache to get involved with a married (unavailable) man. Be sure it isn't just the thrill, excitiment of this situation that has appeal. Some people covet thrills and be aware if this factor is involved. Consider what you are doing to the wife in possibly undermining their relationship and giving him an excuse for cheating--also an exciting factor for him.

why would you get involved with a married guy? You know all you are doing is setting yourself up to get hurt. And think about it would you like for someone else to do that to you.And even if the guy left his wife for you you don't think it would be in the back of his mind about you doing that to him? or it could be the other way around.

as a married guy I have to agree with you . untill the divorce is final you shouldn't be gettin your hopes up on someone who's married . unless you want to force the issue and be part of the reason for the divorce . . Friendship is ok but you have to know where to draw the line on where things go
