Sure. Sound is just vibration, and he would still feel the vibration.

Excellent question. After several very precise scientific experiments, it has been established that the tree does NOT make a sound. The way the experiment was conducted was as follows: They couldn't accompany the deaf man into the woods, because that would obviously have affected the outcome of the experiment. Therefore they found a deaf man - to ensure the man was actually deaf, they strapped him to the amp at a Metallica concert, so that if he wasn't deaf before, he definitely was after. Then they gave him a packed lunch and sent him off to the woods to wait for a tree to fall. Fifteen years later, after establishing that a tree had fallen, they questioned the man as to whether he had heard a sound. When the man replied that he hadn't, they hooked him up to a polygraph machine to ensure that he wasn't lying, and amazingly enough he still said he'd heard nothing - and the polygraph proved this to be the truth. During his questioning, the man was also able to confirm that a Bear does relieve his bowls in the woods, but he was unable to confirm whether the Pope is in fact Catholic.

The tree would make a noise but of course the man is deaf so he may not be able to hear it but he may be able to see the tree before it fell down on him just in time for him to get away if in case. I guess, he still has the power on him, to run for his life..

The tree wouldn't make as much noise as the deaf guy would once the tree fell on him.

You wouldn't have to be deaf. I wouldnt be able to tell if a tree falling in a Russian forrest made any noise when it fell over either.

Just think about it for a while. If noises could be stopped simply by having a deaf person near, factories would hire a deaf person to sit there so that there wouldn't be law-suits about hearing loss.

. No, the tree wouldn't make a noise, trees don't make any noise. Do you think the tree screams as it falls? it's the effect on air creating sound waves as the tree slams into the ground that we hear not anything emanating from the tree itself. So I win on a technicality. maybe.

Of course it would, just that the deaf person would fell the vibrations of its fall. Also all the woodland animals would hear the trees fall.
