My husband is the non-custodial parent and we live almost five hours away. His ex has repeatedly denied him visitation, but his daughter is reaching out to us for help.

If your husband has nothing legally preventing him from seeing his daughter he should fight for visitation rights at the very least. Do you have Internet access to her? Don't give up .. don't give up. She's much too important.

I can understand that this can be difficult. Is your husband required by the court to keep a certain distance away from his ex and daughter? Is is possible for you to meet up with the daughter somehow so you can talk to her or call her somehow?
You can also provide help by providing her with the resources or finding her someone she can talk to if you are not able to do it yourself.

Find someone in the area that she can talk to. That has had the same experience and has grown past the event. Try looking it up on google - for a support group.

If she is a teenager then she has the right to live with who she likes and you can file a case.
She needs love and affection at this moment, just keep telling her that everything will be fine

go to court and your hubby can ask for parental custody (full)
or ask a lawyer

be with her,if not anything else on humanitarian grounds,help her gain her self confidece and make her feel secured...all she needs is love and security!!good luck!!
