I'm 35 years old and 17 years ago I told my best friend that I was in love with him even though he had a girlfriend.
We have now been happily married for 15 years and have 2 children.
I would definitely say something to him/her. If you don't you might end up regretting it for the rest of your life. If you tell him/her your feelings and he/she responds in a negative way and decides not to have anything to do with you anymore. Then, he really wasn't that good of a friend afterall.
Life is too short to "settle" for just anyone...approach telling him/her with caution but do tell him/her.

You took the main serious first step: you wrote approximately what you're dealing with. save at it. All which you're feeling and function felt is totally favourite and comprehensible. Your mom became incorrect to not appreciate your emotions on your former boyfriend and your grief over dropping him. regrettably, maximum dad and mom at the instant are not desirable and extremely a pair of times say the incorrect issues or forget to assert the desirable issues. this is in simple terms existence. save remembering that your contemporary existence is barely non everlasting. you're quickly starting to be an self sufficient youthful lady and could quickly have the means to bypass out interior the international and create in spite of existence for your self which you extremely prefer. carry close in there a rapid mutually as longer--there are extra perfect days forward.

Unfortunately, i think you should keep tight lipped. It would hurt, but if they are in a happy relationship, you would upset / lose your friend if you hurt them. You don't want to be the person to break up 2 people. It's hard, but fairest all round. Sorry

If they have a b/f or g/f then I would wait till they didnt, you dont want to be the reason for them breaking up and to say anything might cause hard feelings. best to keep it to yourself.

I wouldn't say anything. Even if they didn't have a BF/GF you run the risk of ruining your friendship if they don't reciprocate your feelings-they'll feel "weird" around you"

Keep it quiet even though its hard. He is with his girlfriend for a reason and you shouldn't complicate his relationship especialy if you love him.

Dont say or do a thing that will jeopardize any chance that you may have with him in the future. If it is meant to be, then it will happen.

Wait until they break up before saying anything. Don't cause problems and make them hate you.
